Aevornix Workspace privacy notice
What the Aevornix Workspace desktop application keeps, where it keeps it, and what leaves your computer. Aevornix Workspace keeps pages, collections of records, tasks, dashboards, files, forms and automations in workspaces on your own computer, and carries Aevornix Forms, Aevornix Automate and the six Aevornix Suite applications inside it. It has no account, no sign in, no cloud service, no telemetry, no analytics and no advertising, and it works offline.
What we collect
Nothing. Aevornix Workspace sends nothing to us: your workspaces, documents, forms, responses, workflows, credentials and settings stay on your computer. We do not sell or share personal information, because we receive none.
What the application holds
Workspaces and the files you save are in folders you choose. Everything else below is kept in the application’s local data folder, apart from the data of any standalone Aevornix application you also use.
- Workspaces
- Each workspace is a folder you choose. It holds a database of your pages, records, tasks, dashboards, forms with their submissions, and automations with their run logs, together with the files you add, backups, exports and logs. Values recorded under a field whose name suggests a credential are removed before they reach a log.
- Change history
- A workspace records each change with an identity this copy of the application makes for itself, so changes can be carried to another device as a file you write. The identity is not linked to you, and nothing is synchronised on its own.
- Settings and recent workspaces
- Your preferences and the list of workspaces you opened last.
- Aevornix Forms
- Forms and response collections are files in folders you choose, by default Aevornix Forms in your Documents folder. Settings, recent files, recovery copies and drafts are kept in the application’s data folder, and private keys for signing forms and decrypting responses are protected with Windows data protection for your user account.
- Aevornix Automate
- Workflows, their versions and schedules, run history, screenshots, application logs and audit history. By default run records are deleted after 90 days, step data after 7 days and run logs after 30 days, and you can change each period in Automate’s settings. Passwords, API keys and tokens you save for a workflow are encrypted with Windows data protection for your user account, and are removed from logs, run history, error messages and exported workflows.
- Aevornix Suite applications
- Aev Word, Aev Present, Aev Book, Aev BI, Aev Smart and Aev Schedule keep their settings, recent files, recovery snapshots, search index and a log of events in the application’s data folder. Records one application publishes for another, such as a linked range, are kept in a folder every Aevornix application shares, Aevornix\Shared in your AppData\LocalLow folder. Credentials for a data source you connect are held in the Windows Credential Manager. Your documents are stored wherever you save them.
What leaves your computer
Network access is off until you turn it on in Settings. While it is off, Workspace, Aevornix Forms and the Suite applications send and receive nothing. With it on, the Suite applications can reach only what you set up: an update check or download you ask for or turn on, an assistant provider you configure, a data source you connect, a plugin you grant network access, and usage statistics sent to an address of your own if you turn them on and enter one. An Aevornix Automate workflow reaches the network only through a step granted access to that address when the workflow is activated, carrying the data and credentials you configured for it, and a script step runs the script you wrote, which can do anything that script does. An extension that asks for network access is refused. There is no update check, licence check or usage reporting of the application’s own.
Automations, other applications and the clipboard
Workspace automations act only inside the workspace they belong to. Aevornix Automate desktop automation steps read the names, text and properties of controls in other applications, and click, type and capture the screen, only when a workflow you run tells them to; clipboard steps read the clipboard only in workflows that use them. When you record an automation, pointer movement is not recorded, and nothing typed into a password field is recorded. A workflow can start when Workspace records a change or when Aevornix Forms stores a response. Answers to questions marked sensitive are never handed to a workflow, and a form that encrypts its responses hands on none of its answers.
The background runner
Workflows you activate run in the Aevornix Automate Runner, a background process on your computer, so schedules and triggers work while Workspace is closed. Starting it with Windows is off until you turn it on, and you can stop it in Automate’s settings.
Respondents
People answer your forms in the Aevornix Forms Responder or in a browser package you distribute. Both keep answers on the respondent’s computer and save the finished response as a file the respondent sends to you. The browser package runs entirely in the web browser and is blocked from connecting to any network address. As the form owner, you decide what to ask and are responsible for the personal information respondents give you.
Updates and purchases
Updates, purchases and licences are handled by the Microsoft Store under Microsoft’s terms.
Removing your data
Deleting a workspace folder removes the workspace and everything in it. Uninstalling Aevornix Workspace deletes the application’s data folder, which Windows keeps for it in the Packages folder of your local application data (%LOCALAPPDATA%): settings, the recent workspace list, Automate’s workflows, run history, credentials and logs, and the settings, keys, recovery copies and search indexes of Forms and the Suite applications. Back up any private key you still need first. Uninstalling leaves the shared Aevornix folder in AppData\LocalLow, which other Aevornix applications may use, and data source credentials in the Windows Credential Manager, where you can remove them. Workspaces, forms and response collections, documents, exports and backups saved in your own folders remain until you delete them.
Children
Aevornix Workspace is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.

Aevornix is an operating division of Oxford Private Studios Ltd, the publisher of Aevornix Workspace. Because the application keeps your data on your own computer and sends nothing to us, we hold nothing to give you access to, correct or erase. The services your workflows and data sources connect to are responsible for what they receive under their own terms. UK and EU data protection rights apply to anything we do hold, which is what you send us directly. Changes to this notice are published on this page.
