Aevornix Sticky privacy notice
What the Aevornix Sticky desktop application keeps, where it keeps it, and what leaves your computer. Aevornix Sticky keeps sticky notes on your own computer. It has no account, no server, no telemetry, no analytics and no advertising, and it does not use the internet.
What we collect
Nothing through the application. Aevornix Sticky sends nothing to us: your notes, attachments and settings stay on your computer. Purchases are handled by the Aevornix Software Store at aevornix.online under its own notice. We do not sell or share personal information, because the application gives us none.
What the application holds
Everything below is kept on your computer, in the Aevornix Sticky folder under your local application data folder.
- Notes
- The text, colour, position, tags, reminders, checklists and revision history of each note, held in a local SQLite database. Archived and trashed notes stay in the database until you remove them.
- Attachments
- Files you attach to a note are stored with it on your computer. Notes locked with a PIN are encrypted, attachments included.
- Settings
- Your preferences for the application.
- Backups
- Daily local backups of your notes, saved on your computer.
- Diagnostic logs
- Logs kept on your computer to help diagnose faults. They do not contain the content of your notes.
What leaves your computer
Nothing. Aevornix Sticky makes no network connection and has no telemetry. Data leaves your computer only when you make an export (text, Markdown, JSON or a .aevsticky archive) and choose where to save or send it.
Updates and purchases
Aevornix Sticky is bought and downloaded from the Aevornix Software Store at aevornix.online, under its own terms and notice. The licence file is checked on your computer, offline. The application contains no update client and does not check for updates itself.
Removing your data
Uninstalling Aevornix Sticky keeps your notes. To remove them, delete the folder %LOCALAPPDATA%AevornixSticky. Export your notes first if you want to keep a copy. Exports and backups you saved elsewhere remain until you delete them.
Children
Aevornix Sticky is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
Your rights and who to ask
Aevornix is an operating division of Oxford Private Studios Ltd, the publisher of Aevornix Sticky. Because the application keeps your data on your own computer and sends nothing to us, we hold nothing to give you access to, correct or erase. UK and EU data protection rights apply to anything we do hold, which is what you send us directly. Changes to this notice are published on this page.
