Aevornix Relate privacy notice
What the Aevornix Relate desktop application keeps, where it keeps it, and what leaves your computer. Aevornix Relate, listed in the Microsoft Store as Aev Relate, is a relational database and business application builder that runs on your own computer. It has no account, no cloud service, no telemetry, no analytics and no advertising.
What we collect
Nothing. Aevornix Relate sends nothing to us: your projects, records, applications and settings stay on your computer or on computers you choose. We do not sell or share personal information, because we receive none.
What the application holds
Each project is a .relate file in a folder you choose. Settings for this computer are kept in the Aevornix\Relate folder of your Windows application data.
- Records
- The tables, fields and records you create or import, which can include personal information such as customer, supplier or employee names and contact details. As the project owner, you decide what to store and are responsible for it.
- Users and roles
- When sign-in is turned on, each user has a user name, display name, roles and optionally a Windows account name. Passwords are stored only as salted PBKDF2 hashes, never as text.
- History and audit
- Change tracking records who created or changed a record and when. Field audit, when you turn it on for a table or field, keeps earlier values. Both live inside the project file.
- Credentials
- Secrets for webhooks and connections are kept in the Windows Credential Manager on this computer. A project holds only a reference to each secret, never the secret itself.
- Settings and recent projects
- The list of recently opened projects and the publishers you trust for application packages.
- Relate Host keys
- When you run Relate Host, its certificate and private key are kept on the host computer, with the key protected by Windows data protection.
- Backups and packages
- Created only when you ask, or when a project asks for a backup before a schema change. Backups are saved in a Backups folder beside the project. Application packages hold forms, reports and the schema, never business records.
What leaves your computer
Nothing, unless you set it up. Relate Host shares a project with other computers on your local network over an encrypted connection, and finds hosts with a local network broadcast. Webhooks send event data only to addresses you enter, on this computer or your local network. Imports, exports, reports and backups are files you save and move yourself. Aevornix Relate connects to nothing on its own: there is no update check, no licence check and no usage reporting.
Aev Book
Aev Book can open a workbook data model in Aevornix Relate and receive it back. The exchange is a file on your own computer; nothing passes over a network.
Updates and purchases
Updates and Microsoft Store purchases are handled by the Microsoft Store under Microsoft’s terms. Aevornix Relate contains no update client and does not check for updates itself.
Removing your data
Deleting a project file removes the project and every record, history entry and user account in it. Deleting a record in the application removes it from the table; audit and history entries for it remain in the project file until the project is deleted. Uninstalling Aevornix Relate does not remove projects, backups or exports saved in your own folders, and may leave its settings folder in your application data; delete these yourself if you no longer need them. Stored credentials can be removed in Automate, Secrets, or in the Windows Credential Manager.
Children
Aevornix Relate is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.

Aevornix is an operating division of Oxford Private Studios Ltd, the publisher of Aevornix Relate. Because the application keeps your data on computers you control and sends nothing to us, we hold nothing to give you access to, correct or erase. UK and EU data protection rights apply to anything we do hold, which is what you send us directly. Changes to this notice are published on this page.
